I love the attitude of no excuses. Let me explain, no excuses for what I choose to do or not to do. I do not need an excuse to dress how I want, to express myself the way I want or to do the things I want. It has taken me until way over 40 to grasp the idea of living my own life. I believe in listening to others, in being kind and looking at other point of views but I do not need to change to fit into someone else's mold.
How do you stay fabulous?I have learned over the years that the basics work; healthy food, sound sleep, drinking water, and moving my body daily. I love to cook and bake, which gives me control over what I eat. I eat sweets within reason because total deprivation or excess is not living, balance is living. The foundation to every day is in prayer and Bible reading. I believe a smile can change someone's life and laughter cures multiple ailments.
What would you do with the $40,000?I didn't enter this competition because of the money. Certainly, I would accept the money and put it to good use. But I entered to lift other women up, show positivity and expose the beauty of life after 40. I want to emulate a life lived well, not perfect, but well.
