As we mature we realize the importance of embracing meaningful things in life such as our health and the relationships we share with our family and friends. Being able to hold on to these values allows us to better accept ourselves as a whole, including what society may view as ‘physical flaws’. I also enjoy the growth both personally and professionally that 40+years has provided (no looking back). Ageing is truly a blessing that not everyone is able to experience. #grateful
How do you stay fabulous?Although growing old is a blessing, ageing gracefully is also a mantra. This includes self care in all its forms; internal health (eating right, but still enjoying all foods), purposeful movement (simple excercise/mobility); enjoying family & friends (time together matters), & taking time for yourself (you matter too).
What would you do with the $40,000?With age also comes a realization of mature responsibilities. Helping my children become the best people they can be will always be the most important thing I leave behind one day. Being able to secure some long term educational support for my children’s futures would be a dream come true.
