I feel empowered and confident to be myself and let myself grow and learn through leaning into hard things. I was dissatisfied with my weight and health and professional life so I decided to break out and find people and professionals to support my goals and dreams. I have 3 kids and a wonderful husband. He is an amazing individual who inspired me to go all in in becoming the best version of myself. He was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s but because of his mindset & grit he’s very strong.
How do you stay fabulous?I lost 45 pounds in the last year and have found healing from years of being devalued as a healthcare professional. I do hot exercise like yoga and Pilates . I also started a business to provide RN support for moms to find their own wellbeing through all the challenges that arise from becoming a mother. I provide a high tech high touch solution for postnatal families . We also support athletes like my husband who use endurance sports to fight Parkinson’s.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would love to invest the money in my business to help moms get the much needed support they need when bringing home babies after birth. We aim to fill the void of the forgotten 4 th trimester and beyond through offering an ongoing connection to a team of Registered Nurses. So often new and experienced moms suffer in silence because they don’t have help navigating their own wellbeing .
