When I had a CVA/STROKE @ age 21, I was diagnosed with Lupus & told by a UCI Dr. I wouldn't make it to age 30. I'm proud to be age 72 now! Since I physically couldn't have a baby, I always donated my time & $$ to. Olivecrest/abused children & The Blind Children's Learning Center. I love the confidence & worldly wisdom achieved after age 40!
How do you stay fabulous?I have been volunteering @ our local 7-11 store for 7 yrs. I started helping my friend/neighbor Greg who worked there. Since he had 2 heart attacks on my Birthday @ aged41, I knew it was my calling as a friend to help. I enjoy being kind & helpful to our neighbors & customers at the store.To me true success is how you show kindness & respect equally, if they're homeless or rich, we are all the same. I stay fabulous by helping/caring for homeless people that really needed my help.
What would you do with the $40,000?I was diagnosed in 2009 with Fibromyalgia, Poly R.A. & DDD/Spinal. I sincerely plan to start a Non profit Foundation for Fibromyalgia, where patients are helped with utilities, food $$ etc. I NEVER complain about my pain, however it's like having a horrible flu everyday. Doctors now know it can be inherited. It's a nerve disorder disease affecting 80% women/20% men & even children. If a miracle I won the $$, of course I would help those afflicted & in severe pain.
