I am a recently divorced woman who just turned 50. I have always put my family and the needs of others first. I finally love and value me.

I love all of the real-world knowledge and life experiences that I have gained. I got married and had my first child while I was still in college. We would later add our two sons and bonus daughter to our family. Working two jobs to help put my kids through college. Surviving the end of my 25 year marriage. And most importantly learning whonInam as a person and not just as a wife and mother.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by realizing that it is an honor and privilege to be able to say I’ve reached 40 years old. I take time to take care of myself as well as my family. We as women often forget that if we do not take care of ourselves first then we are no good to anyone else. Self-care and love of self does not make us selfish. That was a hard lesson for me to learn.
What would you do with the $40,000?So this sounds so silly but I would love to take my sister with me and do to the resort where they filmed “Dirty Dancing” we live there movie and want to go, however we take care of our responsibilities at home before anything. I would then want to have somebody invest $4,000-5,000 doe each of my kids. Lastly and the area I would be totally clueless in doing, would be to set up a foundation that teaches middle school aged and high school aged kids how to create budgets, invest their money.
