It’s simple, at 53 I’m still here! Overcoming my health problems since age 5 has been a daunting task but I’ve been resilient fighting them.

I love “loving” myself more than I ever did in my teens or 20’s. I realized I don’t have to be perfect to be FABULOUS. I am in competition with nobody. I love that I’m okay going out without makeup these days lol… I’m more emotionally, mentally and financially stable. I determine now how to deal with life’s ups and downs that are in my control. And I determine how I let go those I can’t. Love that I can share my strengths/weaknesses and life’s experiences to my the younger generations.
How do you stay fabulous?I wake up everyday and affirm that no matter what I’m going to live my best life. I regularly follow-up with doctors and do what I need to do to get through my illnesses. I surround myself with positive energy and avoid any negative distractions. I stay active with things like walking my dog to playing with my little nieces and nephews. My passion for gardening and landscaping is great diversion therapy. I’ve also begun learning to cook which is really fun and healthy.
What would you do with the $40,000?Due to one of health issues I’m needing extensive dental treatment. I would use the money for the desperately needed full dental implants I’ve been urged to have. Because I have so many other complex medical problems, it won’t be simple or cheap. The plan made for me is way more complicated than normal. It’s not about the aesthetics of having new teeth. It’s about functionality. It would be nice to finally be able to chew properly so I can thoroughly enjoy the food that I’m learning to cook!
