What I love about being over 40 is the sense of accomplishment I feel & confidence I have. I have a little bit of life experience at this age & can look back over the years & smile. I graduated from college with my nursing license at 23 years old, bought my first home & got married at 24 years old, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in 2013 & a precious baby boy in 2018. I have a full life & enjoy it. I am well into my career, happily married & secure in my own skin.
How do you stay fabulous?After turning 4o, I decided to celebrate me a little bit more. I have dedicated the last 20 years to building the foundation of my life; the career, the home, marriage, starting a family. Now I have some free time to focus on me. I take pride in my appearance, for myself. If I look good, I feel good, am happy & confident. I keep in shape by eating healthy, get my nails done, teeth whitened & Botox. I meet with girlfriends to unwind. I make more time to allow me to be Christina.
What would you do with the $40,000?With the $40,000, I would deposit some into my children’s savings accounts, every dollar will be of help when they are older. My younger brother just bought his first home. I would give him money to use towards the reno or towards paying down some of his school loans. I would take my 11 yr old daughter on a shopping spree, buy some kind of electric car for my son & maybe a watch for my husband. Whatever was left, I’d put towards paying for my masters degree to become a Nurse practitioner.
