The best part about being over 40 is embracing who I am and where I stand. I’ve carved out a successful career, allowing me to enjoy financial freedom and independence. No longer reliant on others, I feel empowered and confident. This stage celebrates self-discovery; I've learned to appreciate my strengths and accept my flaws. Each day brings a sense of liberation and authenticity, enabling me to pursue my passions without hesitation. It’s a thrilling journey of growth!
How do you stay fabulous?Having achieved my goals at this age, I strongly desire to give back. As a professor and filmmaker, I dedicate my time and energy to mentoring those under 40 and guiding them in pursuing their dreams. Watching them grow and succeed in video production brings me immense joy, like witnessing a garden bloom. I feel fabulous sharing insights and strategies to help young media-makers navigate challenges. I stay fabulous by seeing their potential unfold and knowing I played a part in their journey.
What would you do with the $40,000?As a female filmmaker in a male-dominated industry, I’m passionate about creating opportunities for women to thrive in media production. With a scholarship fund, I aim to empower aspiring female filmmakers with the education, resources, and tools they need. Women’s voices are often marginalized, but they can redefine the narrative with the proper support. This fund would provide essential funding and mentorship, enabling women to break the glass ceiling and shatter it to oblivion.
