After just experiencing the biggest disaster of my lifetime Hurricane Helene here in Asheville NC, I can say that being over 40 has given me the years of wisdom, strength and growth needed to look at things with a perspective of courage and hope. Although many have lost so much including loved ones and my heart is hurting for our community, it is the collective good and human spirit that comes to the forefront that gives me hope and optimism in the face of even the most adverse challenges.

I stay fabulous by always finding the rainbow and bright side in any situation. I smile and laugh as often as possible, I truly enjoy lifting up others and sharing the knowledge I have acquired over the years when it comes to creating your life and achieving your highest goals, dreams and purpose! I love nature and work to be out in our beautiful Mountains on horseback or walking my dogs or on a lake and take the time to breathe in the fresh air and appreciate the beauty that surround us.

If I am the winner of $40,000 I would invest in my community in Asheville NC, the long lasting catastrophic effects of Hurricane Helene are yet to be seen and so many are in great need. I would also like to further my career as an Artist and would invest in my painting supplies and take some time to do more of that for friends, family and maybe an Art Gallery showing! Painting is a big passion and a love that fills my heart and soul with joy, and maybe brings some to others!
