I love that I've gotten to the stage of life where I care so much less about what other people think and so much more about what I think. This "reframing" helps me focus and align my thoughts, intensions and actions. I also now know to give to truly nourish myself so that I can nourish others; not just with food (I am a holistic chef!) but with my physical, mental and spiritual practices. Finally, after several careers, I am finding so much joy doing what I do best: being of service to others.
How do you stay fabulous?I do all the lifestyles "things" - sleep like a queen, train hard with heavy weights, get in my 12k+ daily steps, cook and fuel with nutritious foods, work on my business, take my supplements, protect and care for my skin...I could go on. But the single most important part to being fabulous is cultivating, growing and evolving the relationships with my husband and twin teenage sons. Giving and receiving love is as fabulous as it gets.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would split this up equally and put it into 4 buckets: 1. Reinvest in my business, scale and grow it so that I can hire more help, purchase more equipment, rent a commercial kitchen and take on more clients. 2. and 3. Give to my sons college tuitions - with twins, its tuition x2! 4. Donate: we have been giving so much for our businesses and kids that we haven't been able to donate as much as we want to. I'd donate time and resources to Feeding South Florida
