I love that I am finally finding my voice. I love that I’m finally putting myself first and realizing that I must advocate for my own well-being. I love that I am learning that I am an important, special person because of who I am inside and not what I look like on the outside. And all those wrinkles and belly fat are just the battle scars from me winning life’s war.🥰
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by doing the things that make me happy. I feel fabulous when I help people, actively listen and have compassion. When I have my hair or nails done, it’s a small thing that helps me feel more beautiful. As a person who struggles with depression and self esteem issues, when I look at my nails and hair, it makes me happy. And when I’m happy I can give myself so much more of myself, because I don’t have to worry about what people think of me.
What would you do with the $40,000?As I am just leaving my marriage, the $40,000 would afford me the opportunity to start over and not have to worry about paying my bills. My initial thought when I entered the contest was to donate a good portion of it to charities including the Canadian Cancer Society (my Dad died of cancer) and my personal favorite charity, my local animal shelter.
