I love that I can put my past behind me and accept that I won't be a size 4, and I don't mind it at all. I'm no longer attached to a size, number on the scale, or what is dictated externally. Although I make every effort to stay healthy, I'm not obsessed. I stay healthy for my family and that contributes to fun times together. I'm definitely more confident and I don't just believe everything that is said to me. I challenge and I fact check and I am accepting of opposing opinions.
How do you stay fabulous?I'm not sure if I'd ever say "I am fabulous" but I have a number of things that keep me at the top of my personal game. I surround myself with positive people. I have a small circle, but it is one that I value. Those lifelong friendships that span most of my life are truly valued. I would say my best feature is my sense of humor. I love to laugh and I love being around people that make me laugh. Exercise is also important as it keeps my body and brain in sync. Happy Endorphins daily.
What would you do with the $40,000?This might sound strange, but I would set up a plan to give it away. After my dear friend passed, her husband came to our home with a bowl of her jewelry and said "pick something to remember Jan." I thought this was a fabulous (here is where fabulous is important) idea. I thought it would be great to set up an account and designate an amount to every person in your life that touched you in a special way.; Like the bartender who comped my drinks after a wave of water from a car engulfed me.
