It's not your age, it's your energy, your vision and your passion that define you. I love being fearless and fabulous over 40 because, as my 4 year old granddaughter Evy said to me, "Why not?" Life is an adventure. I love the friendships and the wonderful women who inspire me as I reach out to others to uplift and inspire others along the way. I know now that failure is a teacher on my path to success. If you didn't know your age, what would you do? Do it now!
How do you stay fabulous?Always have a purpose. Always have a goal. I wake up each morning with an excitement to get up and work towards my goal. Staying fabulous is a choice. It takes self discipline and a mind set of doing the work to stay healthy and happy. I schedule my work outs and treat my body with respect knowing that my health is in my hands. I volunteer my time in the community as fabulous is being connected and making a difference. Fabulous is teaching others how to believe in themselves.
What would you do with the $40,000?I believe in community service. Volunteers are the foundation of healthy communities. There are more children in foster care than ever before. I would like to mentor foster children in self esteem, goal setting and give scholarships to kids who age out of the foster system and need a helping hand to transition to college. Our kids are our future. They deserve to know that someone believes in them and helps them get on the right track. I will call it C2S - Courage to Succeed.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
