What do you love about being over 40?

I love that at this age I feel my priorities are in check. Nothing matters to me more than my family. I’m the Mom of four and just in the last few years have gotten to watch them become really great humans. They communicate well and love people and Jesus and that makes me feel like their dad and I and Jesus, have made a great team. I love that 40 has become a magical place where I care less what others think. Since 40, I’ve just been able to focus on making me, proud of me and that’s enough.

How do you stay fabulous?

Several years ago, during Covid, I had gotten to a place I wasn’t happy with physically and mentally. I joined Crossfit and lost 50 pounds and have continued to maintain my health in a way I am proud of. With four kids, I’m always active. I run a business and we run a farm and there’s always work to do. I also always take care of my skin and take pride in feeling and looking my best. Good stuff in, good stuff out.

What would you do with the $40,000?

My kids have been begging for a pool for over a year. We don’t buy things unless we have the money for it, and it has been my job to come up with all of the money upfront. I want a pool in my backyard and we actually already flattened out the area. This is the amount of money that’s missing. I want it in my backyard while my teens can enjoy it, but at my current pace… my future grandchildren will enjoy it. 😂😩 This money would go towards that. It will be my “Fab 40 Pool Fund!”
