I love that I feel younger and better than I did even in my 20’s. After turning 40, I began to make my health and fitness a true priority. I think as I have gotten older I’ve realized that it is possible to have it all. I’ve got an amazing marriage (17 years), 2 incredibly smart and independent teenagers, a successful HVAC business that I run along side my husband, a nursing license that I keep active, and still have time to cook regular meals, and do CrossFit 5 days a week, and loving life.
How do you stay fabulous?I am a firm believer in water intake and nutrients. Being fabulous starts with what I put into my body. Feeling fabulous ends with what I put on my body. I love getting dressed everyday and feeling like my outfit matches how I feel on the inside. My most favorite part of staying fabulous is the time I spend working on my body sweating it out in the gym. I think my outlook on life also plays a role in staying fabulous. I have been called positive Patty once or twice. Not much ever gets me down.
What would you do with the $40,000?The reality? I’d probably give $10,000 to my kids high school engineering club to get them to Nationals next year, then $10k to each of my children’s college funds, $8k to BeStrong, and $2k at Free People.
