At 58, I embody youth, health, and confidence, but my true beauty lies in kindness, love, and adding value to those around me.

My favorite part about being over 40 is the confidence I have at this age. I am comfortable in my own skin, so my focus is not on 'me' all the time. I can now be a kinder, more caring person to those around me because my mental space is free of insecurity and 'comparison clutter'. I also love having my grown children as friends and enjoying grandchildren. I love that my goals are extroverted more than introverted; and I love that my body will still endure a tough workout!
How do you stay fabulous?My mother was a wonderful cook so I was exposed to a wide variety of healthy food. Therefore, I love to cook and eat healthy, delicious lean proteins, fish and vegetables. My husband and I eat a Mediterranean diet for the most part, and I have always worked out 5 days a week. I try to be consistent about a good skin care routine, but, in full disclosure, have never spent a lot of money on high end products. I also take fistfulls of supplements, collagen and flax oil.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would donate the first 10% to a non-profit charity called Lydia's House of Hope in Somersworth, NH. Lydia's House of Hope is a transitions home for women coming out of homelessness, abuse and a criminal past. I have volunteered there as a group leader and I can attest to the miracles they facilitate. I would donate the second 10% to my church. And then I would put the rest into a real estate investment as my husband and I just recently started a real esate investment business together!
