I used to hear my mom say when you’re in your 40s you’ll be thriving and I just didn’t seem to believe it until I turned 40. I feel more confident and I am achieving more things than I ever have in my life.
How do you stay fabulous?I believe in balancing , your work life and personal life makes a big difference. During the day I’m a full-time Development Director for a nonprofit that work with families with children with special needs. So that means I’m always on from 8 to 5 sometimes 8 to 7, I may have to attend 3-4 networking events weekly. When I’m not doing that, I’m home catering to my husband and our two dogs Rocket and Rambo. I love me a good spinning class to keep this energy up.
What would you do with the $40,000?I wouldn’t feel right if I did not donate at least half of these proceeds to my nonprofit organization it would definitely help us continue offering free services in our community. It’s not a whole bunch, but it’s more than what we have.
