I am fabulously over 40 because I am a survivor of breast cancer and thriving!
We would like to thank you for supporting Cecilia Mendoza in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
What I love most about being over 40 is being more comfortable in my own skin and accepting of myself for who I am and what I look like. I strive to live my life unapologetically by my terms. I believe that having lived the things I have lived makes me confident and live life with intention.
How do you stay fabulous?Spending time with family is what I value most. When not working I like to spend time with my family hosting family football Sundays, boxing Saturdays, going to my nephew's football games, taking my dog to the park, or just talking to family and friends to check-in in on them to see how they are. I also like to share my life experiences with them and share what has helped me be resilient during difficult times. I also am a beginner practicing meditation, enjoy riding going to concerts!
What would you do with the $40,000?I have a passion for helping people and would love to give a portion to charity for breast cancer. I also have a passion for animals so I would love to give back to my local shelters. I would also like to travel and take e a bucket list trip to Europe!
