I am a married, 52 year-old mom of an awesome autistic seventeen year old. I live in Sedalia, Missouri, home of the Missouri State Fair.

What I love about being over 40 is that I've found the confidence to be myself. To not put so much weight on others opinions of myself and my family and that my kindness is what people will remember most about me when my days on this planet are done. That the best thing you can wear is a big smile. That the people in my life are the biggest priorities, I've also learned that it is not too late to do all the things I meant to do when I was younger, like paint, join a gym, and read all the books!
How do you stay fabulous?I'm the last person to call myself fabulous, but I think there is something very attractive about a woman who knows who she is, what she wants and just goes after it. I also think it is important for women at any age to stay as fit and active as we can. I take care of my mother who has Alzheimers and my son who has autism and so I worry about my own health and try to do all I can to stay healthy. I tell people all the time that I need to live forever like it's a joke but I'm not kidding,
What would you do with the $40,000?I would take my family on a vacation to the beach somewhere all inclusive and do absolutely nothing for a week. I think the last vacation we took was the Wisconsin Dells back in 2012. I really need this.
