What I love most is having the courage, passion, and energy to begin the next act! At 41 it was about tackling the C-suite from the CMCO seat and using that role to unapologetically advocate for robust ESG programs that double down on CSR, which I have done for the last 15 years at 3 Fortune 500 companies. Now at 56, it’s about pivoting again and using the power of board service, corporate and nonprofit, to do good.
How do you stay fabulous?A natural curiosity and lifelong learning, as well as being a connector keep life interesting. Giving back is also key. I serve on the advisory board of the World Communications Forum-Davos and several other nonprofits that focus on expanding hearts, minds, and humanity into understanding what it means to be a true citizen of the world, as well as organizations that focus on the leadership development of women.
What would you do with the $40,000?I wish I had something very clever or catchy to say. Truthfully, for me, it’s about connecting with fabulous women over 40 who are making a difference in the lives of others that is the reward. If pushed for a direct answer, I would focus on my development and continuing to impact women through organizations I currently support. I believe in lifelong learning such that each year I select something new to spend the year learning. Sometimes, it's humbling (think yoga), and it's always worthwhile.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
