Being over 40 brings a sense of confidence and self-acceptance that comes from years of experience. I love the freedom to prioritize what truly matters, whether it’s nurturing meaningful relationships, pursuing passions, or simply enjoying life without the pressure to conform. There's also a rich perspective gained from overcoming challenges, which fosters resilience and gratitude. Plus, I appreciate the wisdom that allows me to make better choices and the ability to inspire and mentor others.
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous over 40 is all about embracing change, prioritizing self-care, and nurturing a positive mindset. Here are some key ways to maintain that fabulousness: Prioritize self care, stay active, cultivate confidence, keep learning, nurture relationships, practice gratitude and embrace change.
What would you do with the $40,000?A big dream I have is to start a non-profit organization that would build and maintain schools in rural areas of Guatemala. This price would be a very strong start, to assess existing schools and identify gaps in infrastructure, resources, and support. Then, collaborate with local government agencies, and community leaders to gain support and ensure sustainability. Launch campaigns to raise additional funds, which would lead us to begin with the first school.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
