What do you love about being over 40?

I’ve learned what not to do in so many categories that I have no other option than to be successful. If I have to start over, you can bet it’s going to be a lot faster from start to end. My attitude is so different from my younger days. It’s not that I don’t have time to waste, it’s more that I’ve learned how sacred my time and energy are. Being over 40 is an earned privilege— kind of like when you’re in your teens and you can’t wait to be 21. I feel I’ve finally made it.

How do you stay fabulous?

I also partake in the regular and normal things people will mention such as watching carbs, exercising, and staying fit…at least I make a good attempt to do those things. Most of all, though, I now live my life by the creed to stay away from toxic people, and those who do not invest in me. Instead, I celebrate my life with those who celebrate me, and all the good causes I believe in. Practicing mindfulness and meditation is a must for me. That’s how I stay fabulous!

What would you do with the $40,000?

After this latest natural disaster from Storm Helene, I would invest all of the $40,000 into my community of Northeast Tennessee and Western North Carolina to help some of the flood victims and their families. This has been more than tragic for my region.
