Being over 40 is a blessing in that I realize how precious life, love, friends, and family are. I treasure every breath. I am also so very BLESSED to be raising my grandson who just turned 9. In March I retired so now I don't have to rush to meet deadlines and now I can enjoy the fruits of my hard labor working 38 years with an electric cooperative. One of my passions is travel and I have been fortunate to adventure and make amazing memories in 48 of our 50 BEAUTIFUL states and Canada.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous in staying active in activities with my grandson. We both travel together and take at least one longer vacation a year and numerous weekend trips. He is a natural athlete so I am blessed to watch all his games, which include soccer, basketball, and baseball. I walk at the local mall, go to yard sales and auctions, grow a garden each year, and help mentor young people and help with our homeless.
What would you do with the $40,000?My grandson, Brian, has stated several times in the past year that he would like to go to Disney when we see their commercial on TV. So, I would definitely take that money and SURPRISE Brian with a FUN FUN Disney trip! I would also pay his current private school tuition, and then put the rest of the money in a college savings fund for Brian.
