Let’s talk about Girls just Want to have fun! I feel like a caged bird who is now allowed to stretch her wings and fly. The confidence of being a woman fully embracing what makes me unique and beautiful and encouraging other women to do the same warms my heart daily. I have had more adventures since turning 40 than I have in the last 15 years. Looking forward to more adventures in the future.
How do you stay fabulous?I believe in self love and care. Because in the words of Rue Paul “If you can’t love yourself how can you expect to love anyone else.?” I have regimens to focus on caring for myself mind body and soul. From waking up daily and meditating, practicing mindfulness, yoga and beauty routines also learning to prioritize my needs so I can be healthy enough to care for others.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would launch my not for profit called Walk Through Fire. This is a public speaking platform to encourage woman to know who they are when leaving a negative situation and also a safe place for women leaving negative situations to get life coaching, therapy, resources for housing, clothing, food and legal services when leaving abusive situations.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
