What I love most about being over 40 is the confidence to own my story—both the good and the tough parts. Growing up with very little taught me how to make the best out of any situation. Now, I’m proud to be a mom of two amazing grown kids, a seasoned HR Leader, and a woman who’s strong, independent, and still knows how to have a good time. As an empty nester, I’m finally taking time to invest in myself, and it feels incredible to chase my own dreams.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by keeping things light and focusing on what really matters—family, friends and staying true to myself. Life can be tough, but I’ve learned to roll with the punches and not take things too seriously. I love a good laugh, especially at myself, and believe in dancing through the tough moments. Staying active, growing personally, and just being present for my family keeps me grounded and feeling good, no matter what life throws my way.
What would you do with the $40,000?$40,000 would be a game-changer! After recently being laid off, I’m navigating a career transition (job market, here I come!), and this would give me a much-needed boost. I’d invest it in securing my future—getting closer to my dream of owning a home. Of course, I’d also take a moment to celebrate—Cabo with my girls, anyone? This win would be about embracing life’s ups and downs, knowing that we can all feel fabulous even when life throws us curveballs!
