Being myself without worrying what others think of me. I’m outspoken and unafraid. I feel powerful when I walk into the room, and I love being the center of attention. The complete opposite of what I was in my teens and twenties. I love the limelight. Thus, I realized I could sing, and joined a rock band called Generations in Myrtle Beach. I started writing when I was 16, and dreamed of being a novelist. My first novel was published when I was in my 40’s. Nine novels published since 1999.
How do you stay fabulous?I take care of myself by going to the gym, yet, I don’t diet. I love food, and my small business is in dessert catering from my home. I LOVE taste-testing my desserts.. I don’t always wear makeup but I never leave the house without lipstick—something my Mary Kay representative mother taught me. I wear it even to the gym. I love fashion, and do most of my shopping at consignment shops. I spend less money and do my part for the environment.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would give some to my grandsons to help with college, and use the rest to take fabulous vacations with Frank, my husband of 50 years. I would love to go back to Crete, the Greek island where we first met. We were both in the Air Force. I was a medic at the base hospital, and I gave him a flu shot. He’s been stuck on me ever since. š
