We would like to thank you for supporting Carol Tidwell in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I often share with younger women, (to their relief), being around a little longer definitely has its perks!! I believe life experience we gain is one huge benefit that contributes to improving all areas of life. This includes in relationships & greatly enhances what we can offer within our careers. Concern over how we may be judged by others also greatly decreases over the years. Just feeling “more comfortable in one’s skin” overall, even more acceptance of our bodies, are also what’s to love.
How do you stay fabulous?Keeping a sense of humor about life; & my Faith are essential for me to being able to adapt & manage life’s challenges. I also try to stay active, up on many things, & will forever be learning about or trying new things!! I believe investing effort into close relationships is essential to staying healthy & happy. Engaging in meaningful work, such as mine as a counselor, &/or service to others are also what helps one stay Fabulous. ; )
What would you do with the $40,000?I’d definitely pay off some business debt, put some in essential savings, & go on a much-needed vacay after 15 busy years of working & raising-kids into young adults!! In addition, I’d like to make a contribution to a cause that supports the development, mental health, & wellbeing of young woman. I’ve began to brainstorm some ideas I’m excited about such as planning a fun & educational event so multiple participants could benefit.
