I love the resilience that comes with experience. No matter what happens, life continues, and I'm grateful I can share my journey to help other feel hopeful in their own challenges. I'm incredibly proud to watch my sons grow into remarkable adults, and I treasure time with family and friends. Being married for over 40 years to the most wonderful man taught me to see my own worth. Though my heart broke when he passed, I hold onto the love we shared, knowing he'd want me to keep being myself.
How do you stay fabulous?I truly enjoy taking care of myself. I stay active with daily walks and strive to eat healthy, though I never pass up the chance to enjoy ice cream with my granddaughters. Staying close with family and friends and keeping a positive outlook are at the heart of my well-being.
What would you do with the $40,000?Faith and giving back are important to me. I'm devoted to my church, and I would dedicate some of the prize money to support it. I would also donate to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., in honor of the many lives touched by breast cancer. With the remaining funds, I would love to plan a special family gathering with my sons and their families to create more cherished memories.
