I'm more in love with my husband now then ever and I feel a deep sense of purpose as a voice for mental health, advocating for alternative methods like psychedelics. I am embracing this chapter with clarity, passion, and a purpose to help others "Conquer the Battle Within."
How do you stay fabulous?I'm learning not to feel guility for self care and that its ok to ask for and accept help. I try to maintain a balanced lifestyle and if it doens't feel like a F*^K yes, then it's a no. I nurture my confidence by staying true to myself, surrounding myself with positivity, and continuing to grow and learn. Staying fabulous means loving and honoring myself while remaining a fierce advocate for mental health and untraditional approaches to well-being.
What would you do with the $40,000?I'd donate the funds to our non-profit (www.mentaljoe.com) to empower women and spouses. Healing can't be one-sided, and I believe in the importance of whole family healing. A portion of the funds would go towards providing child care to those in need, giving families the opportunity to focus on themselves and their mental health needs. The potential impact of those funds is endless, and I'd ensure it goes towards changing and saving families in need.
