I love feeling that I’m in power. It seems like the hard work I have done in every arena is paying off. I feel wise, I love my body, I love my people, and I enjoy the fruits of my labor. I love that the end result of standing for and with myself is an unshakable human being who is a part of her community and world. It’s the “moreness” for me. More of my essence. More authenticity. More connection on a deep level. Being over forty feels like permission to be my best with no apology.
How do you stay fabulous?I work out daily. (My favorite workouts are from The Class by Taryn Toomey and swimming) I take care of my skin with derma plane, Botox, and facials. I connect with my higher power and practice meditation. I spend a lot of my time with preschoolers which keeps my sense of wonder vibrant. I try to allow each part of myself agency, performing music with my group Adorners and taking art classes. I try to be engaged and interested, which I believe makes me FABULOUS.
What would you do with the $40,000?I have a goal to build a small home for myself next door to my mother, who is aging and will need my assistance. Post divorce I have been living in a wee cottage at a retreat center which has its perks, but I would love to build my own little dream cottage and be closer to my sweet mom. It would provide financial security and enable even more fabulosity into my life!
