I love that being over 40 brings a greater sense of confidence and self-awareness. I have a calm understanding of my pursuits and values. I treasure the experience, knowledge, and wisdom that my past has afforded me giving me a more balance view of the world. I love sharing my stories with fellow women creating a safe space where experiences emotions and perspectives can be expressed. My goal has been that my beauty doesn't diminish, but transforms to reflect wisdom and kindness.
How do you stay fabulous?Practicing mindfulness literally allows me to stop and smell the roses. Encouraging a deeper awareness of the present moment it enhances concentration, resilience, and clarity. Having loving and authentic friendships is imperative to me staying fabulous. These friendships have created a space for me to be vulnerable, and share the ups and downs of life and my personal growth. These friendships have improved my mental and physical health, giving me a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
What would you do with the $40,000?The money really could be the fuel that lends spark to my idea of opening a women's health spa, which would focus primarily on bioidentical hormones, yoga, mindfulness, and camaraderie. I want to have the ability to look at the whole woman and help her achieve her best life. Historically a woman's purpose has been lessened once she has hit perimenopause/menopause. I guarantee this ideal still exist. My desire is to shatter that belief and provide a "watch out here I come" kind of attitude
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
