Connect What do you love about being over 40?

Being over 40 is fabulous! I feel like I have so much wisdom from life’s experiences and passion for life, while also still being vibrant and full of joy. Being over 40 means I’ve lived a life of substance, alongside my husband of 22 years, our 3 (almost grown) children and I am still just getting started. I am transitioning careers and have really learned to embrace the unexpected, while growing and continuing to learn. I have new dreams and aspirations that are starting to come into focus.

How do you stay fabulous?

After almost losing my life unexpectedly to heart failure, 3 yrs ago, I’m currently thriving in my health. I have recently lost 45 lbs, changed my whole family’s food lifestyle, am constantly striving to grow through helping others and developing deeper relationships. Spending time with my family and friends, while growing spiritually, are what keeps me grounded and full of life. I am grateful for this life and want to continue to live it to the fullest! I have so much more to live for!

What would you do with the $40,000?

If I won the $40,000, I would, first, take my family on a real vacation! It’s been a rough couple years with mine and my son’s health crisis’. I would then pay off debt that came from transitioning careers and starting a new business. I would invest the rest into necessities that are needed for my business, which would allow me to continue to invest back into my community.
