I've never actually been asked this question and I think it's important for us women who are over 40 to reflect on it. I love feeling independent, confident, and self assured, letting go of how I'm perceived or what others think of me. I love feeling like my own woman, remembering that beauty is more than the physical.
How do you stay fabulous?Fresh pressed juices in the morning, yoga, eating whole foods--was raised vegetarian and continue to enjoy a plant based protein diet, having a spiritual practice using meditation and visualization practices throughout my day, using mindfulness to keep my mind clear and confident, remembering that love is the universal language that keeps us all united.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would put it towards starting a small business, a dream I have had for quite sometime now. I would also use it towards a down payment on my first home, another big dream I have. I would also put some of the money in a savings account for my 16 yr old son, so he has something to build on. Lastly, I would use some of the money towards hiring a caregiver for my elderly mother so that she could be at home when she passes rather than an assisted living facility. It would mean the world to her.
