I love being able to shock those who think that 40 and above means that you slow down and you don’t still chase dreams. I also love the inspiration that comes along with being a glimpse of another woman’s future perhaps. There is nothing more invigorating than how a young woman lights up when she realizes that she can relate to you like their age group in a way, yet you possess a certain sophistication that only a 40 something would have. They are inspired and look at aging more positively!
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by leading a young team of adults in my every day business as an International Bridal Business Leader. The growth that I see in them from me representing an age group who not only is knowledgeable, but resilient with plenty pre-cell phone stories to entertain the masses! I eat well, I work out, I pray, and I always make sure I give everyone love and light when I walk in a room! The consistency in staying fabulous comes from the impact you see it has on others who look up to you!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would invest this money in my dream business “The International Dollhouse” which will be a bridal and eveningwear store where I will hire youth, and teach them skills that they can use in the fashion and retail industry as a trade, or a lucrative career. I want to open a location that represents America, which is not only one skintone, one age group, nor one nationality. We will have designers from all over the world representing American residents who have many roots in other countries.
