At age 51, I started Blade & Shade, microblading and permanent makeup business in my hometown of Beattyville, KY AND at Le Chic Designs in London, KY. I love being over 40 because I have experienced success, pain of losing family members, divorce, business being flooded out AND survived it all. I also became a grandmother for the first time to what will be my only grandchild. I am not easily mislead now and care less about the opinions of others.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by maintaining my weight by eating thoughtfully, daily stretching and physical exercise. I enjoy a spiritual relationship with our Lord and give to those less fortunate than myself. I am a lash artist currently and find myself giving advice to my clients on things they are going through in their personal lives. I am newly single for the first time in almost 14 years and am navigating a whole new world!
What would you do with the $40,000?If I win the 40k, I would pay off my remaining mortgage balance, get more massages that keep me able to work, and donate to our local animal shelter, as abandoned and mistreated animals are something I am passionate about!
