Being in my 40s feels empowering! At 45, I’ve raised two beautiful, strong daughters who are 23 and 25, and watching them thrive is one of my greatest accomplishments. Working for Southwest Airlines keeps me connected to people and challenges me to grow, and I take immense pride in taking care of myself and my family. I’m also excited to explore new ventures, like starting my own cosmetic line, which has always been a dream of mine. This stage of life has been refreshing for me!
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by prioritizing self-care and balance in everything I do. I believe in nourishing my mind, body, and spirit whether it’s through staying active, eating well, or taking time to relax and recharge. My confidence comes from knowing who I am, embracing my journey, and letting go of things that no longer serve me. I’m also all about staying curious and open to new experiences, At 45, I stay glowing cause I know true beauty starts within first!
What would you do with the $40,000?If I won $40,000, I would use it to invest in two things very close to my heart. First, I would put part of the money toward launching my cosmetic line, a dream I’ve been nurturing for some time. This would allow me to create something meaningful that inspires confidence and beauty in others. But more importantly, I would set aside a portion to buy a house with enough space to bring my mother home from the nursing facility she’s been in for the past 2 years now.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
