I am 51 and at this point in my life I have more confidence and strength that I never had before. I exercise more and eat healthy. I am empowered to live my life with more peace and surround myself with the people who love me and want to see me succeed. I still have a lot to learn about life but the remaining chapters of my life are going to be filled with only the best of times, full of love and laughter. How do you stay fabulous?I love music and it loves me. I can listen to a good song from Stevie Nicks and begin dancing anywhere, like no one is watching. I stay fabulous by making people smile or laugh at my ability to beat to the rhythm of my own drum and despite the cards I've been dealt I choose happiness and peace.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would rebuild the life that I had taken from me. While living with my abuser my mental health declined to the point of not being able to keep a job, I lost my cars, my home, my belongings and sadly I almost lost my life. Everyday is a blessing and I'm rebuilding my life starting from scratch. The most important thing to me would be to get a home, I miss sleeping in my own bed and then a car to go back to work.
