I am a teacher, a gardener, and a nature lover. Being grounded, connecting to the earth, and finding peace are my life's goal.
We would like to thank you for supporting Bopea Neang in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I love learning to love and letting go. I've learned to love myself and be more forgiving of others. But also be forgiving to myself as a woman. To appreciate life's lessons and to embrace achievement. Even the smallest of them. I love celebrating me, my loved ones, and all those that make a positive impact in my life
How do you stay fabulous?I am a MLL teacher. I teach English to newly arrived students from around the globe. I enjoy learning from my students and celebrate the academic achievements they have made. I particularly enjoy being a grandmother. I love being in and around nature. I love being grounded as much as possible. I stay connected to friends and families. I love dancing to Cambodian music. Having a life partner who supports and help each other is also important. Peace of mind, health, and happiness is important.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would pay off my credit card debt. It is so easy to fall behind. Not only does a teacher provide for her family but she provides for her students. Often purchasing educational materials, supplies, and other school related items. We teachers often donate, not just our money, but our time as well. We attend to and create learning activities for students to enjoy. For instance, we have yearly fall carnivals, Olympic day, and science fairs. Many times, teachers donate items for these activities.
