I feel at peace with who I am and what my place is in this world. It's a time to revel in life experiences with an open mind and an open heart, without self-judgement. I continue to grow and learn from people of all ages. Having experienced great loss, I have grown to appreciate a more simpler life and be grateful for what I have. And to discard what truly doesn't matter. A thunderstorm followed by a brilliant colored sky, a rainbow, laughter, a walk in nature...these are priceless gifts.
How do you stay fabulous?I am constantly reading about nutrition, health and exercise; finding ways to incorporate the latest scientific research to stay fit and healthy from the inside out. Travel takes me out of my comfort zone and opens up doors to many different worlds and experiences. My work in fine art allows my creative spirit and soul to become a visual reality. My outlook on life is to be open, not take anything for granted and to make tomorrow better than today, for myself and everyone that I know and meet
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use part of it to create an art studio in my home and the rest to create art. I have several installation ideas for the world to enjoy, many for children and young adults. My dream is to donate my creations to an art center or museum for all people to enjoy and to hopefully inspire them to fulfill their dream or possibly even a moment of joy to those who are struggling. I worked in non-profit and learned so much from the many struggles people experience.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
