I’m a 42-year-old, Jesus following, donut loving, hardworking, business running, single homeschooling mama of four beautiful boys.
We would like to thank you for supporting Beth Riebe in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I have especially appreciated the grace and wisdom afforded through the myriad of life experiences in the last four decades. I am comfortable in my skin and with whom I've become. There is a sense of calmness in my spirit that was not present in my youth. I have confidence that, while many facets of life are beyond my control, the God of heaven is in complete control. He sees me, He loves me, and He has called me by name. There is no greater peace than that.
How do you stay fabulous? As a homeschooling mom, I recognize that I am still learning and strive to model what it means to be a "lead learner" to my boys. I pour myself into books, everyday experiences and physical activity. The best place to be is outside! My boys will affirm that there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad gear. Everything is an adventure if you allow it to be, and in doing so, I strive to be fit and fabulous even in my 40s.
What would you do with the $40,000?It would be an honor to steward of gift of that immensity. First and foremost, I would give the first fruits to church in gratitude for such an incredible gift. I would put away a portion of the remaining amount as an educational starter account for each of my boys. Lastly, I would purchase a used camper to continue our homeschooling adventures on the road. What a joy that would be!
