I actually looked forward to my 40s as I was starting a new decade with my family. As my kids are growing and my relationship with my husband strengthens, it brings me some pride and confidence. Unfortunately my 40s have brought increasing health issues, but it has taught me so much about compassion for others and patience with things out of our control.
How do you stay fabulous?I try my best to balance caring for others and caring for myself. I work to advocate for myself and my family in all interactions. I also teach my kids to be kind and compassionate towards others. For fun, I enjoy photography and crafts of many kinds. I like to decorate cakes and bake sweet treats. I also help my husband and kids by supporting their interest in drag racing.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would spend the money on things that our family could do together or things that bring us together. It could be board games and takeout, a vacation to somewhere new, or adding something to our home to make us more comfortable in our family nest.
