Two-time cancer survivor living with presence and gratitude, and embracing the good, the bad and the ugly. To feel it all is to be alive! 💛
We would like to thank you for supporting Belinda Galaviz in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I love knowing that I have full control of my life, and that I don’t need anyone’s permission to be me and do what makes me happy! I was so excited and proud to turn 40, as there were times in the last several years when I didn’t think I’d live to see this age. But I have, and I am so proud to say that I am 40 years old, knowing that I’ve lived through so many extraordinary experiences and moments that have made me the person that I am today. To be 40+ is a gift!
How do you stay fabulous?By treating each moment like a special occasion. Don’t save the good wine for another day; enjoy it now with the company you’re with! Don’t wait to wear that perfect outfit in the “perfect” moment - you can look amazing now! Every day can be special and is a gift in and of itself. With this in mind, I strive to show up as the best version of myself each day - for me and for others. Even on the bad days, there’s always an opportunity to shine and share our strengths and virtues with others.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would put it towards my husband’s and my surrogacy journey. Even though we had embryos saved during my first cancer in 2018/2019 (BRCA1 breast cancer), I lost the ability to carry a pregnancy after my second cancer (Fallopian Tube) in 2021. There is nothing we want more in this world than welcoming our first child, and we are so hopeful for the possibility of this becoming a reality in the coming year.
