I love being over 40. Life has been an adventure and has provided me the opportunity to apply the life skills that I have acquired thus far. I have been fortunate to re invent myself as a two time publisher, owner of my Women’s Pro Basketball Organization, trainer and an adjunct professor at my Alma Mater. My basketball career has allowed me to travel the world. I have been exposed to many great people who have recognized my talents and gifts and as a result been awarded many prestigious awards,
How do you stay fabulous?I have alwaya been committed to my appearance, wellbeing and keeping myself fit. I believe that beauty starts within. I enjoy looking my best. I take special care of myself. I have a beauty and workout routine that I follow regularly. I am plant based, I workout and exercise 3-4 days, monthly massages, daily skin care regimen and meditation. Being fabulous for me, helps me stay confident and speaks volumes about the respect that I have for myself. When you feel Fabulous, no one can stop you.
What would you do with the $40,000?Winning $40,00 would benefit my nonprofit organization greatly. It would allow me to continue providing life skills trainings and workshops to young girls in unserved communities to help them develop self esteem and confidence. It would also help cover travel expenses and materials for the workshop. Also, I have always wanted to have a professional makeover done by a well known professional for myself and my daughter. She is a hard working single mother who is co-parenting.
