What I love about being over 40 is the wisdom and confidence that come with it. I've always been direct, but at 50, I fully stand in my truth. As a Gen Xer with a millennial daughter, it's fascinating to see how these generations are evolving. I'm grateful I experienced my youth before the internet—there was more living, being outside, and staying active in the '80s. It was a time of real connection, and I will hold on to those memories as I watch the world change.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by living an active lifestyle I've stuck with for the past 25 years. Weight training and eating clean—for the most part—keep me energized. I mean, I can’t go without pizza, LOL! Self-care is key too, whether it's taking time to relax, caring for my skin, or staying mentally grounded. Consistency in workouts, fueling my body with good food, and making room for treats like pizza help me feel and look my best. It’s all about balance!
What would you do with the $40,000?If I won $40,000, I’d start by upgrading my mom’s house and helping my brother with his place. Then, I’d invest in dividend stocks and crypto to grow my money for the future. As a treat, I’d take a dream vacation along the California coast, driving the entire stretch to soak in the beauty of the Pacific Ocean—my absolute favorite thing about the Golden State. It’s a mix of giving back, planning ahead, and indulging in some well-deserved relaxation.
