I love the freedom of just being who I am and not feeling the pressure of having to impress others. I love being able to take the time to learn new things. I’m a big believer in continuing to learn; case in point I became a yoga instructor in my 50’s! As I’ve aged I’ve had the time to learn more about myself and prioritize the important things in life. My faith tops that list followed by my big family; my husband of 42 years, 4 married children and 13 grandchildren.
How do you stay fabulous?Each day is a gift and I try to embrace it. My health has become a priority as I’ve aged and I take care of every aspect of it; physically, spiritually, and mentally. I love walking and going to the gym as well. Skincare has always been important to me since my teen years and I still continue to take care of it every day. I believe in moderation. And I give myself grace on days when I can’t get everything accomplished I set out to do.
What would you do with the $40,000?Honestly, I’m not sure what I would do with the money. I think, perhaps I would give some of it to a reading program. Being a former teacher, reading is such a passion of mine and it is my goal to instill the love of reading in children. Reading is empowerment and I love donating to reading programs.
