It’s great just finally knowing that not everything counts, all the time, that I am allowed to have my bad moments, bad moods, bad days (even “bad hair days,” #gasp!), bad runs of "luck," and that tomorrow is usually going to be better. I love not worrying about who looks better or who's wearing what better, because I am feeling good with how I look and how I am wearing whatever look I happen to be wearing, even if that's no "look" at all, but just me being fab over 40!
How do you stay fabulous?“Staying fabulous” can be subjective, but my most feeling fab strategy is getting out and enjoying the beauty of the day by way of a daily walk, for exercise, as well as for my mental well-being. Being a three-time cancer survivor, I realize that my state of mind is largely where it’s at in terms of feeling however I feel. I do my best to “mind my mind,” as well as my body. Reading, writing, singing and remaining passionate about the things important to me help complete the picture.
What would you do with the $40,000?$40,000 would fund a dream that is near to my heart: Being of Italian descent, I would love to go to Italy, including experiencing all that “la bel paese” has to offer by way of culture, sites, heritage,-and cuisine, of course! My 93-yr old father has living cousins near Naples, whom I would so love to meet and spend time with! I’d also love to donate to a nonprofit or two that I presently support by way of volunteering. I’d use any remaining funds toward the recording of my next cover album.
