What I love is when (and I've been doing this for a couple years) is when I do tell someone my actual age...they just look @ me and question it. I absolutely do not feel my age ever. I opened my first boutique @ age 40, so in numbers my life is up there, @ 50 my life is 1/2 over, I am still going strong. Sure there is sun damaged, as I lived in Fla. for 15 years, love the beach life, that has taken a bit of a toll. Inside, I am still the same person, my passion for life & am beyond blessed to be
How do you stay fabulous?I swim laps and have done it for years. If a person is not an athletic type, swimming is the best. (2) times a week for an hour, could be more, but all the time I have. I feel great, refreshed and newly motivated. Owning your own business means having to stay focused on everything. I work seven days a week, I always have. It is also a state of mind. I must get my motivation from the passion for my business. Constantly changing, staying on top of trends & the wonderful customers & friends made!
What would you do with the $40,000?Invest some..(working with my CPA, he knows best) and put some back into my business. @ 70 soon to be 71, I have to keep going. My business is my livelyhood..my husband passed away in 2021, Children are grown with their own families, and as long as I have my health and passion for what I do, I will keep going. The investment will help when I do get to a point and I have to give it up. This is all I've know for over 20+ years. I am blessed !
