I love that I have reached an age of wisdom to know who I am and be in a place of peace and contentment. I am no longer comparing myself to others or wishing to be like someone else. I accept myself flaws and all as I value each and every day the Lord blesses me with. I no longer reach for things but reach for opportunities to give. That is the greatest joy for me in this season of life. Whether a physical gift or time, giving to others and seeing the smile on their face is the greatest reward.
How do you stay fabulous?I have a strong faith in God with a forgiving heart believing all things are possible. I live in perpetual hope seeing the glass half full rather than half empty. I value my health, eat well, try to exercise and continue to expand my mind. I surround myself with positive spirit filled people full of wisdom to keep me focused helping me to be the best version of myself. Someone I can look back in the mirror at and say “I like that girl”
What would you do with the $40,000?I would complete some needed things in my home in order to continue my desire and mission to open it up for fellowship and support to other widows and women who have lost loved ones, hurting or in pain. A place to talk, listen, share and have a bite to eat. Also continue to make gifts for giving. If anything is left, I’ll take a few of them who really need it and not be able to afford it, on a trip with me expanding the love so they can relax stress free .
