I am told I look good for my age, but age is overrated. What makes me fabulously over 40 is how I carry myself, and practice self-care.

There are many aspects to love about being in my 40s. I especially embrace love the new and improved me, as compared to when I was in my 20s and 30s. With age, comes wisdom. As such, I am confident that I’m wiser and will not repeat the same mistakes. Acquiring insight enabled me to prosper and thrive while coasting through this decade of my life and beyond. Being wiser, for example, comes with choosing friends wisely, and focusing on quality rather than quantity.
How do you stay fabulous?I eat right, exercise, and care for my skin to sustain my youthful appearance. However, most importantly, I stay in touch with people who add value to my life as they give me unwavering support and encourage me, even when I doubt myself. At the same time, I eliminate people tax, a term coined by best-selling author, Robert Ringer; the people who are a drain on valuable resources such as my time, energy, and dignity.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I were to receive $40,000, I would use it to bring an embryonic idea to fruition. It is an initiative-The Bill of Rights for Students with Disabilities. The mission is to educate students K-12, living with a disability about their rights, gaining awareness of how they deserve to be treated. I have had an excellent track record with this idea as I was asked to be a keynote speaker for a conference, explaining what the Bill entails.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
