What I love about being 40 is that I’m wiser, more confident than ever. I fell in love with myself, nurturing every flaw and turning it into true beauty. People compliment me every day, not believing that’s I’m in my 40’s. I just feel amazing and happy.
How do you stay fabulous?I truly believe it was the self work I started at the age of 36, after a horrible divorce, back/hip injury. To where I could barely walk and was in constant pain. I suffered from extreme anxiety, depression, painful hormonal acne. I overcame all obstacles and handled them with grace. I fought to heal myself physically, emotionally and mentally. I am now loving myself more than ever. I am so focused on what matters most, my family, breaking generational curses and building an empire.
What would you do with the $40,000?I want to show others they can do it that very thing they dream about every day. I want to start a nonprofit organization to help people struggling with “overcoming” breaking the cycle and mental torment of life when everything just feels like it’s falling apart after a divorce, traumatic experiences, abuse. I’d like to help provide them, resources, tools, shelter, self care techniques, financial assistance, if needed, and so much more.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
